Shenyang F-5 * Retired *
Twelve F-5 delivered from China in 1962. The Shenyang F-5 is a Chinese copy of the Mikoyan-Gurevitch MiG-17F Fresco-C. The radar-equipped F-5A (MiG-17PF Fresco-D) was not exported. Used by 1875 Regt at Kucova initially for fighter and later ground attack duties. It's final use was as an advanced trainer. Only one has been lost in an accident. The last five airworthy examples were withdrawn from service in 2004.
