Escuadrón Mentor
Role: Training.
The unit was formed as Escuadrón Elemental on 9.1.1951 with
Prentice. They were replace by Beech B-45 Mentor from 1958 and retired in 1960,
when the squadron got its present name. The
Beech
B-45 (T-34A) Mentor were retired in 2011 and replaced with
PA-A-28 Dakota from INAC until the new IA-73 will
become available.
