Comando Aéreo Norte

 

Role: Air Operations.


The unit was formed as Zona Norte on 26.6.1959 at Santiago to control air operations in the north of the Dominican Republic. The name of the command was changed to Comando Aéreo Norte on 1.3.1966. On 7.6.1990 the unit moved to Puerto Plata.
