Escuadrón de Caza-Bombardeos "Leonidas"
Role: Fighter-Bomber.
The unit was activated in 1954 with F-47D from the USA. The AT-6 Texans and the
Vampires were used by the Escuadrón de Caza Ramfis and the Escuadrón de
Caza-Bombardeos Leonidas. The unit
was merged with the Escuadrón de Caza in 1961 to form the Escuadrón de Combate.
