the habour of the capital Santo Domingo (at that time known as Ciudad Trujillo).

Santo Domingo / Base Aérea San Isidro (ICAO code: MDSI)
The airbase became operational on 23.3.1953 and is located 25m east of Santo Domingo. It was
named Base Aérea Trujillo until 1961, when the name was changed to San Isidro.
The
Escuadrón Aeronaval was based here from 2003 until 2010.
