Escuadrón de Combate 2311 "Dragones"
Role: COIN/Attack.
The unit was formed on 31.7.1979 to operate the A-37B
aircraft. The aircraft were previously operated by the Escuadrón de Combate 2112
at Taura.
A detachment with six A-37B Dragonfly is maintend at
Base Aérea
Lago Agria with Ala 31. In 2010 the unit was reequpped with Embraer A-29B
Super Tucano.
