The airbase became operational in 1922. Most of the transport and helicopter fleet are currently based here.

San Salvador / Cuscatlan IAP / Base Aérea Comalapa (ICAO code: MSLP)
The airbase became operational in 1988. All combat aircraft are currently based here.
