Role: Aerial Photography.

Since the 1950s the Sección Fotografía, which was founded in the 1920s as part of the Escuela Militar de Aviación, with North American AT-6 and one Aero Comander 680 were part of the Grupo de Aviación 3 (Transporte). On 18.8.1978 the Grupo Fotográfico was formed as an independent unit and received its present name in 1991.
