Soon after independence in 1992 the Bosniak (Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) Government and Bosnian Serb (Republike Srpska) Government independently began operating aircraft for VIP transport.

Bosniak Government aircraft retained the colours of the charter operator. Bosnian Serb Government aircraft carry the red and white shield insignia of the Bosnian Serbs on the fuselage, and the national flag on the fin. Serb aircraft also the country title 'Republic of Srpska' in English on the starboard side of the fuselage and in Serbian on the port side.
All government aircraft carry civilian registrations in the BH-xxx or T9-xxx series.
