Messerschmitt Bf 108B-1 Lebed 
Four Bf 108B-1 delivered from manufacturer in June 1940. Used by 6th Fighter Polk for Bf 109E pilot conversion. Total of six aircraft eventually obtained. Later used in the liaison and VIP transport role. One aircraft with 14th Air Transport Polk in 1949. Withdrawn from service in 194?. Lebed = Swan. Military type number 7050.

Ten Bf 109E-4 Strela (= Arrow) delivered from manufacturer in June 1940. Used by 3/6 Orliak for the fighter role. Withdrawn from service in 1943+. Military type number 7047.

Nine Bf 109E-7 Strela (= Arrow) delivered from manufacturer in 1941. Provision for centreline drop tank + no engine mounted cannon - propellor spinner hole often deleted. Total of 19 Bf 109E obtained. Used by 3/6 Orliak for the fighter role. Withdrawn from service in 1944. Military type number 7047.

Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 Strela 
Twenty-three Bf 109G-2 Strela (= Arrow) obtained from the manufacturer in two stages from early March 1943 (16+7?). 23 more Bf 109G-2/G-4 delivered around September 1943, followed by 38 Bf-109G-2/G-4 in early 1944 (25 G-2 + 13 G-4?). Total of 84 Bf 109G-2/G-4 obtained. Used by 2/6 and 3/6 Orliak for the fighter interceptor role. Withdrawn from service in 1947. Military type number 7097.

Messerschmitt Bf 109G-4 Strela 
Some Bf 109G-4 delivered around September 1943 plus possibly 13 more in early 1944. A few camera-equipped Bf 109G-4 Strela (= Arrow) were delivered in exchange for Bf 109G-2 and G-6 aircraft sent for overhaul to Romanian factories during 1944. Total of 84 Bf 109G-2/G-4 obtained. Total Bf 109G-4 circa 20. Used by 3/6 Orliak for the fighter-recce role. Withdrawn from service in 1947. Military type number 7097.

Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 Strela 
Twenty-eight Bf 109G-6 Strela (= Arrow) donated by Germany on 2 January 1944. Thirty more obtained later in 1944. Total of sixty aircraft ordered, but only 58 delivered. Total for Bf 109G-2/G-4/G-6 was 142 (145 or 149 in some sources). Used by 2/6 and 3/6 Orliak for the interceptor fighter role. Withdrawn from service in 1947. Military type number 7097.

Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10/12/14 Strela 
At the end of World War 2, during June-July 1945, some 100 Bf 109G-10/G-12/G-14 airframes were taken as war prizes from Pech in Hungary and a Messerchmitt factory in Austria and ferried back to Bulgaria. The Bf 109G-12 was a two-seater conversion trainer. These aircraft served with 6 Fighter Polk until late 1946. In 1947 59 aircraft were supplied to the Yugoslav Air Force as war reparations. Several others served with the Fighter School at Telish until the late 1940s. They were finally scrapped in 1950. Military type number ?
