3. Training Orliak
Role: Operational Training

The 3. Training Orliak was first established in late 1936 to train newly qualified aircrews in the full range of operational roles performed by the air force. The rapid expansion of the air force after 1934 made this unit necessary.

1st Recce Yato
Tactical recce training squadron.
This squadron was first established in late 1936 to operate the He 45.
