Sports (Fighter) Yato
Role: Interception

The Sports Yato was established in 1926, officially to carry out sports flying duties, but unofficially to act as an interceptor fighter unit. The only real fighter it had was the single Fokker D.VII, which had its guns re-installed in 1926.

The unit was incorporated into the Mixed Orliak (wing) in 1930, which became the 1. Army Orliak in 1934.
