At least eight Mi-8P/Mi-8S delivered from ? They wore the livery of Balkan Bulgarian Airlines and carried civil registrations. LZ-CAT was retrofitted with a weather radar to enhance flight safety, for use by the head of state. Supplemented by a more modern Mi-17 obtained from the air force in January 1996. Used by the Government for VIP transport.
