Eurocopter AS.565MB Panther 
Six AS.565MB ordered in January 2005 from the manufacturer and planned to be delivered in 2010. To be used by the Naval Helicopter Squadron for maritime surveillance, SAR, anti-submarine and anti-surface missions. In particular, they will operate aboard the four new French-built corvettes that will be introduced into service.

Kamov Ka-25 
One Kamov Ka-25BSH delivered in 1984. Used by the Naval Helicopter Squadron for Airborne Early Warning. Withdrawn from service in 1991.

Mil Mi-4M  
Two Mi-4M obtained from the USSR in 1959. Two additional examples (?) obtained to allow formation of the Naval Helicopter Squadron. Used for shore-based ASW operations. One example crashed into a lake in early 1966. Withdrawn in 1979 when replaced by the Mi-14.
