Approx. 15-20 An-2 used from 1991 onwards. Some were ex-JRV, while others were impressed Yugoslav civil or from former East Germany. Used for supply flights, medevac duties and as a makeshift bomber during the War of Independence. Many carried no external serials until later allocated 9A-xxx registrations. Two still in use 2002. Used by 27 ETZ for the utility transport role. Withdrawn from service in August 2004.

Two aircraft, including '006', had additional electronic equipment installed for use as ELINT or mini-AWACS platforms. The aircraft featured prominent additional antennas under the belly and along the spine.
