| Title in English: | Macedonian Police Aviation Unit |

Narrative Summary:
The Macedonian Police operates a small fleet of Bell-made helicopters. Two of them, an Agusta-Bell AB.206 and an Agusta-Bell AB.212 have been in the Macedonian inventory since the Republic of Macedonia was a part of Yugoslavia. Then the official name of the Macedonian Police was "Milicija na Republickiot Sekretarijat za Vnatresni Raboti na Socijalisticka Republika Makedonija" which translates as Police of the Socialist Republic of Macedonia. When the Republic of Macedonia became an independent and democratic state in 1991, the word Milicija was changed with Policija. Today the official name is "Policija na Republika Makedonija" which translates as Police of the Republic of Macedonia.
During 2000, Taiwan donated 5 million US Dollars to the Macedonian Government for use in buying one new helicopter from Bell Helicopter. The Macedonian Government decided to invest the money in one Bell 412EP, which was delivered to the Macedonian Police Aviation Unit on November 22, 2000. This helicopter received the serial Z3-HHC.
The Macedonian Police Aviation Unit provided huge support in the fight against the ethnic Albanian insurgents during 2001. The unit used its un-armed helicopters, including the recently acquired Bell 412EP and the Bell 212, for the transport of elite Police special units. This was done in cooperation with the Macedonian Air Force which provided fire support with its Mi-24V Hind-E helicopters.
