Aircraft Types NOT Used
This page gives details of some of the aircraft types that were offered or promised to the German Navy but not delivered, cancelled official orders, and types have been falsely reported as being in service.
Kamov Ka-29 Helix
Some reportedly taken over from East Germany in 1990, but East Germany never had any military Ka-29s.
Lockheed S-3A Viking
Circa 1976 the S-3A was being suggested as an Atlantic replacement, but no order resulted.
