26 S-2A (S2F-1) aircraft received under MDAP from US Navy, 8 March 1960 to 12 January 1961. 2 additional aircraft 30 March 1962. Serials 146 to 173. Used by 320 and 4 sqns for ASW duties. 18 converted to S-2N by Fairey Canada June 1968-December 1970, for 1 sqn use, of which 4 converted to US-2N trainer/transport in May 1971. Last withdrawn 7 January 1976, with some to Turkish Navy.
