National Markings
This section describes and illustrates the various national insignia used by the Royal Norwegian Air Force since its formation:
1945-present
1990-current
Main MarkingFin Flash
The main marking is displayed in 6 positions (ie above and below each wing, and on each side of the fuselage) on aircraft - but on fuselage sides only on helicopters. There is no fin flash. Aircraft do not carry service titles.
Main MarkingFin Flash
A low-visibility grey silhouette version of the main marking is applied on the grey-painted Falcon 20ECMs, but the F-16s and P-3 Orions etc still retain the full-colour version. No fin flash is carried. No service titles are carried.
