PZL W-3 Sokol * Current *
One PZL W-3T Sokol acquired in 2000. All were produced in Poland. The 103. Regiment used to have 4 helicopters of this type - 2 of them used for police tasks, one for the fire brigade and one for supporting border units. W-3 c/n 310510 was an RM Anakonda version. It was destroyed in accident in 1998 during the training of GROM (Polish SWAT). The second helicopter, c/n 310420, was used for Police tasks; the third W-3, c/n 310315, served the fire brigade and used to have a red colour scheme. The fourth helicopter, c/n 310414, used to support the border units. In 2000 (with the abolishing of 103 Rgmt.) the LP received the second and third helicopters, while the Independent border police received the fourth helicopter.
