The national insignia is carried on the rear fuselage of Police helicopters, with a wide white outline on dark backgrounds. No service titles are carried.
The B-xxxx series numbering system was introducted in Czechoslovakia in 1972. For example: Mi-2 B-2909, where B = Bezpecnostni letectvo (Security aviation). First figure "2" = type of helicopter (B-"2"909 for Mi-2, B-"8"939 for Mi-8, B-"17"30 for Mi-171). Second figure "3" = end figure of the year of delivery - 1993 (except for Mi-171).
