Current --- Historical
Spanish military aircraft serials comprise the aircraft type designation followed by a two or three digit individual identity, e.g. SH-60B HS.23-04. In addition, Navy helicopters also carry a service numeric code, comprising the numbers 01-, the Escuadrilla number the aircraft serves with and a 2-digit individual number, e.g. 01-1004 for the same SH-60B with Esc 010. The individual code number often does not match the individual serial identity.
