Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance
Role: Air Ambulance

(Dorset Ambulance Service NHS Trust).
The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, launched in March 2000, provides a daily response to emergency calls, sporting and road traffic accidents in remote locations in support of the NHS Ambulance Service. A new aircraft, a Eurocopter EC 135 came into service in March 2007 and is larger, quicker and smoother ensuring that all patients receive the best possible journey to hospital. The helicopter is operated by Bond Air Services Ltd.
