London's Air Ambulance
Role: Air Ambulance

(West Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust.).
HEMS - Helicopter Emergency Medical Service.
London HEMS Air Ambulance? One helicopter based on the roof of the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. The only air ambulance to have a doctor as a permanent member of the crew. The Royal London Hospital NHS Trust provides the doctor and the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust the paramedic crew. Virgin provides the pilots. The maintenance base is Denham, Buckinghamshire, and the helicopter is based here during the night and when not operational.
