The United States have its lowest point in Death Valley at an elevation 86 m below sea level and its highest point in Mount McKinley at 6,194 m. The country is located between 67° to 172° western geographic longitude and 24° northern latitude 72° southern geographic latitude and has an area of 9,631.420 square kilometres (3.718.691 square miles), not including Alaska (1.717.854 square kilometers/663.267 square miles) and Hawaii (28.311 square kilometers/10.930 square miles).
