Soko G-2A Galeb * Retired *
One hundred and thirty (111?) G-2A Galeb delivered from 1965 onwards. Prototype G-1 first flew 9 May 1961. Production version designated G-2A. Local designation N-60. Used by 105th Fighter-Bomber Regt unit for advanced training and weapons training. Withdrawn from service in 2000 except for one aircraft with the VOC. Nineteen of the survivors were destroyed during a NATO air raid on Golubovci in 1999. Two JRV aircraft to Zambia and several to Libya. Production ended in 1985. (Libya received 60+60 G-2A-E and Zambia 6 from 1974). 1+ to Croatian AF 1995 when Udbina AB captured and a few to Republika Srspka.
