Soko/CNIAR IJ-22 Orao 1 * Retired *
Two prototypes produced - first flight achieved on 31 October 1974. Ten pre-production TJ-2/IJ-22 Orao (first flight late 1978) and fifteen production IJ-22 Orao 1 delivered from 1980 onwards. (Total of 27 aircraft). Attack aircraft actually used for recce duties. Non-afterburning engines. Used by ? unit. Withdrawn from service in 1997. Eight converted to J-22 Orao 2 version.

Soko/CNIAR INJ-22 Orao 1 * Retired *
Five pre-production RTJ-2/INJ-22 Orao and three production RTJ-2/INJ-22 Orao 1 delivered from 1980. Two-seat trainer version actually used for recce duties. First flight achieved 29 January 1977. Withdrawn from service in 1997. Six converted to NJ-22 Orao 2D version.

Soko/CNIAR J-22 Orao 2 * Current *
Fifty J-22 Orao 2 delivered from manufacturer from 1986, plus eight converted from IJ-22 Orao 1. Improved version of Orao 1 with afterburning engines and modified wing. First flight achieved 20 October 1983. Used for attack duties. Operated by 92nd and 98th Aviation Brigades and 172 Fighter Attack Sqn.
