Albatros D.III (Oeffag)
Two unserviceable Albatros D.III Ba.53.2 (Oeffag-built) and at least seven complete Albatros D.III Ba.253 (Oeffag-built) and eight Ba.253 fuselages captured from the K.u.K. Luftfahrttruppe in 1918. One Ba.53.2 was later made serviceable. In 1925 Rogozarski produced nine pairs of wings, to allow eight previously incomplete and one crashed Ba.253 series aircraft to become operational. Total of 16+ Ba.253 series operated. Initially with Austro-Daimler AD6 engine, although at least three Ba.253 were re-engined with the 230 hp Hiero Type H IV engine in the early 1920s. Used in the fighter and fighter training roles. Withdrawn from service in the late 1920s.
