Hansa Brandenburg C.I
More than twenty ex-K.u.K. Luftfahrttruppe Hansa Brandenburg C.I aircraft acquired in 1918. More than 30 examples were captured from Austro-Hungary, but many were damaged or unserviceable. The best twenty or so were put into service as transition trainers. All aircraft were Austrian-built and came from eight different production series. Aircraft with the Austro-Daimler AD6 or Mercedes D.III engine were called "Srednji Brandenburg" (Medium Brandenburg), while those with the more powerful Hiero Type H or Benz Bz engine were called "Veliki Brandenburg" (Large Brandenburg). Withdrawn from service in 1925 when replaced by locally built versions.
