Three Agusta-Bell AB.212 (UH-1N) taken over from the Federal Police in 1992/93. Used to transport special forces teams in Kosovo. Fitted with a small radome on the nose. Camouflaged grey and green overall. To VJ MUP 2002.

Bell 206B-3 JetRanger III * Retired *
One Bell 206B-3 obtained in 1992. One of the first two helicopters operated by the JSO, ex-SUP BiH (Bosnian Police). Used for policing duties. To VJ MUP 2002.

Two Mil Mi-17V Hip-H obtained from Russia circa 1996-98. Used for special operations duties. No civil registrations carried. To VJ MUP 2002. Both camouflaged green and brown. One example in passenger configuration for SAR, insertion and general transport duties. One example with 6 weapons pylons, grenade launcher and self-protection system.

Mil Mi-24V * Retired *
Two Mil Mi-24V Hind-E obtained from Russia circa 1996-98. Used for special operations duties. To VJ MUP in 2002. Both camouflaged two greens and brown. Heavily involved in the fighting in Kosovo 1998-1999. No civil registrations carried.

Three French-built SA.341G acquired circa 1992/93 from the Federal Police. One Soko-built SA.341H, converted to SA.341G standard, obtained from Serbian Police. Used for policing/special operations. To VJ MUP 2002. Operated in a red, white and blue colour scheme.

Sud Aviation SA.342L Gazelle * Retired *
Three French-built SA.342L acquired circa 199?, including one ex-Iraqi Air Force example confiscated by customs officials in the early 1990s from an illegal arms shipment. (This example was armed with HOT missiles and GIAT guns, and camouflaged in green and sand). Used for policing/special operations. To VJ MUP in 2002.
