‘Aircraft & Aerospace’ is the second oldest aviation magazine in the world. It has a long and revered history of incisive reportage and analysis of the aviation industry, both globally and locally. In the Year 2000 it was revitalised to keep pace with the intensifying dynamics of the industry – and to provide decision makers and other industry players with unequalled comprehensive coverage of the issues, the politics and the business of aviation. At the same time the ‘Asia Pacific’ suffix was added to the title.
Monthly magazine (10 issues per year), first published in 1918. Official Journal of the Royal Aeronautical Society of Australia and GAPAN Australia. 56 pages each issue, with b+w and colour photos. Typical contents comprises: world news summary, Australian news, NZ news, defence news, flying techniques, gliding, 3-4 short articles. Covers all aviation activities with the emphasis on current news.
Published by Peter Isaacson Publications during the 1990s, until taken over by Yaffa Publishing circa 2000. Also associated with the ISSN 0129-1815.
