Magazine for pilots and aircraft operators. Initially titled ‘Australian Flying – Light Aircraft Monthly’ (Sept 1963 was issue 8). In 1970 it was still published monthly but the subtitle had been dropped. By 1977 it had become a bi-monthly publication and remains bi-monthly today. In it’s first two decades it featured quite an amount of historical and general interest aviation features, but from about 1986 it began to concentrate more on the piloting aspects of aviation. Today each issue offers hands-on tips to better flying as well as the latest technologies, accessories and techniques, and all the relevant news that affects the day to day operation of the aviation industry. Each issue now comprises 66 pages, covering all apects of aviation issues around Australia.
