‘FlightXPress’ was a monthly magazine about flight simulation on the PC. Produced in Austria, it was also circulated widely in Germany and Switzerland. The first edition appeared in January 1999. The subtitle was Das führende Magazin für flugsimulation und mehr. Typical contents comprised news, software & hardware reviews, flights you can try, flying technical issues, virtual airline reports etc. A double-sided poster was often included. In 2007 the publisher was taken over by a Luxembourg company, which replaced the editorial team. The result was a major redesign of the magazine. In 2010 the publisher encountered financial difficulties and stopped producing the magazine. The magazine was revived in 2011 under the new name ‘Flight!!.
