Eight Fokker S-11 obtained from Brazilian Air Force in May 1972. Known as the T-21 in FAP service. Used by the Grupo Aéreo de Entrenamiento y Transporte.

History

One F.27-200 obtained in 1971 and registered TF-SYR (c/n 10260 ex PH-EXS). Loaned then sold to airline Icelandair from 12 December 1980 and subsequently to Switzerland as HB-ISH. Second F.27-200 obtained 14 January 1977 and registered TF-SYN (c/n 10545 ex PH-EXC). Still used for fishery protection duties. Equipped with underwing fuel tanks. Upgraded in 1987 with under-fuselage radome and updated equipment fit.

History

Two F27-100 were leased from Indian Airlines in May 1983, for use from Calcutta-Dum Dum Airport. One example was later sold and replaced by another F27-100 from the same source. The F27 was operated by 700 Sqn. Both aircraft had been withdrawn by 1998.
