National Markings

                 Main Marking                                     Fin Flash

1918-1925
Up to circa 1920 aircraft were supplied by Great Britain, and as red, white and blue were the Chilean national colours, the standard British roundels were used. In 1920 a blue and red roundel with a white star on the central blue areas was used. The rudder was painted dark blue and charged with a white star. The main marking and the serial number are displayed in 4 positions (ie above and below each wing, and on each side of the fuselage) on aircraft.
