Unit History


Grupo Aeronaval Nº 1
 

Role: Maritime Patrol.

 

The unit was formed at Base Aeronaval Los Torpederos/Valparaiso and moved 1925 to Base Aeronaval Quintero/Valparaiso. The unit was disbanded on 21.3.1930 when the naval aviation service merged with the army aviation service to form the Fuerza Aérea de Chile (FACh) as an independent service.
